The former Chelsea defender has no space in Ghana's 23-man squad for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers against Angola and Niger next month.

Addressing the press on Thursday, Addo revealed that Baba Rahman declined another approach to return to the national team.

The Black Stars will begin their 2025 AFCON qualifying campaign in Group F against Angola on September 5 at the Baba Yara Stadium, before travelling to Morocco to play Niger for their second game on September 9.
