NPP PC for Bekwai Ralph Poku-Adusei kneels to beg constituents to vote massively for Bawumia

In an unprecedented move, Lawyer Ralph Poku-Adusei, New Patriotic Party’s (NPP’s) parliamentary candidate (PC) for Bekwai, knelt before traditional leaders (Nananom) and constituents  to ask them to vote massively for the NPP presidential candidate Dr Mahamadu Bawumia, and for him as their member of Parliament in the upcoming presidential and parliamentary elections on 7 December 2024.

Lawyer Ralph Poku-Adusei urged constituents to vote massively for Dr Bawumia, as they did for President Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo and ex-president J.A. Kufuor in previous elections. He highlighted NPP’s projects in the constituency and ongoing initiatives, emphasising that only the NPP under Dr Bawumia’s leadership can complete and initiate new projects for massive development.

Ralph Poku-Adusei made this gesture on Monday, 11 November 2024 when the Vice President and presidential candidate of the NPP, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia visited the Bekwai constituency as part his ongoing constituency based campaign which has taken him to over 250 out of the 276 constituencies across the country.

The gesture has sparked optimism that the Bekwai constituency will maintain its tradition of handing landslide victories to the NPP since 1992, with Lawyer Poku-Adusei’s affectionate nickname “young wise counsel” potentially reflecting in December 7 votes.

The atmosphere during the campaign event was charged with party sympathisers defying their usual Monday morning ritual of coming out late after weekend activities to support their parliamentary candidate, Ralph Poku-Adusei, presidential candidate, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) as a whole.
