The spokesperson for the John Dramani Mahama campaign, Joyce Bawa Mogtari, has downplayed any attempts to claim that the John Dramani Mahama administration will cancel FREE SHS.
According to her, it’s impossible for the programme to be cancelled by any government considering how important it has become in the lives of Ghanaians.
She explains that what the people are seeking is a review of the programme to ensure its benefits are earned by the beneficiaries of the programme.
In a post shared via social media, Joyce Bawa Mogtari said “It is a big fat lie that the NDC and other political parties intend to cancel free SHS, ignore the NPP. The debate is over.
Ghanaians are asking the Incoming Mahama Administration to correct the fundamental funding challenges plaguing the policy, improve quality of education and feeding,improve infrastructure to ensure sustainability of the program and end the avoidable challenges currently facing the program”.
