Annoh-Dompreh wins Nsawam Adoagyiri seat after recollation of results

Frank Annoh-Dompreh, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) candidate, has officially been declared the winner of the Nsawam Adoagyiri parliamentary seat after a recollation of results on Saturday, December 21, 2024.

His victory was reaffirmed by the Electoral Commission (EC) after concerns over discrepancies in the initial count were raised.

In an exclusive statement following the declaration, Annoh-Dompreh expressed heartfelt gratitude to the people of Nsawam Adoagyiri.

“I am grateful to the people of Nsawam Adoagyiri for their unwavering support. I look forward to serving the constituency and working with all stakeholders to continue our development agenda,” he said, his words resonating with the joy of victory.

The recollation came after opposition voices, particularly from the National Democratic Congress (NDC), raised concerns over the accuracy of the first tally.

With these irregularities addressed, Annoh-Dompreh’s position as the winner was reaffirmed, securing his place as the parliamentary representative for the area.

His victory is not just a personal achievement but a continuation of the NPP’s goals to enhance development in the region.

“I am committed to building on the progress we’ve made, ensuring that our people continue to feel the benefits of the development we’ve promised,” he added.
