The Parliament of Ghana’s Appointment Committee will vet three nominees presented by the President of Ghana for ministerial positions today, January 13, 2025.
The three include Cassiel Ato Forson, John Abdullai Jinapor, and Dr. Dominic Ayine.
The three are expected to lead the Finance Ministry, Energy Ministry, and the Attorney General and Ministry of Justice.
Among other things, the Appointments Committee of Parliament will scrutinize the qualifications of these nominees and whether they are the best fit for the job, considering the times the country finds itself in.
Nominees will be drilled on their professional lives and achievements and will be questioned on some utterances they have made in the past and how it ropes into what they will be doing as ministers.
