President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, has by Executive Instrument reduced the number of ministries from 30 to 23.
The President has hereby revoked The Civil Service (Ministries) Instrument, 2021 (E.i.12) has been revoked.
In the statement, the Ministry of Youth and Sports is now the Ministry of Sports, while the Youth bit is now the Ministry of Youth Development and Empowerment.
The Ministry of Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs has been added to the Ministry of Local Government.
The Trade Ministry is now Trade, Agribusiness, and Industry, while the Energy Ministry is now the Ministry of Energy and Green Transition.
