I am not Muslim, I am Hebrew Israelite – Kodak Black clears up conversion rumours

Kodak Black has denied claims that he has converted to Islam. The controversy sparked after a photo surfaced showing the rapper lying on a prayer rug, leading many to believe that he had embraced the Islamic faith.

However, in a recent social media post, Kodak was quick to set the record straight and clarify his beliefs.

“No disrespect to the Muslim community, but I am a Hebrew Israelite,” Kodak Black wrote, addressing the viral rumors that had quickly spread across social media platforms.

“I feel very disrespected by the blog and [Shere] for allowing them to run with a narrative that I’ve converted to Islam!! Simply him asking me personally to take a picture on his prayer rug.”

He went on to emphasize that the photo, which had fueled the speculation, was taken in a different context.

In his direct statement, Kodak further elaborated: “I always say I like the literature, but I ain’t no f***ing Muslim.”

His frustration with the misunderstanding was clear, as he continued to distance himself from any religious conversion claims. He was also careful to express his respect for other religions, including Islam.

“No disrespect to Muslims, no disrespect to any religion… I can’t tell you you’re wrong for being Christian. I can’t tell you you’re wrong for being Muslim. You can’t tell me I’m wrong for being Hebrew Israelite.”

The rapper made it clear that his personal faith as a Hebrew Israelite was not up for debate. “I don’t understand why that post go viral.

“All y’all saw was a picture of me prostrating,” he added, addressing the public’s tendency to jump to conclusions based on limited information.
