The Peoples National Convention (PNC), has scheduled its Presidential primaries for August 31.
The occassion will serve as the party’s congress.
A statement announcing the date and other arrangements towards election 2024 said interested persons can pick forms at the party’s headquarters.
“Candidates interested in vying for any national executive positions or the flagbearer position of the party can pick up nominations form at the party headquarters from Monday, 12th August, 2024 to Saturday, 17th of August 2024,” the party said in its press release.
Meanwhile, the national congress is said to be decentralized.
“However, the party wishes to inform its rank and file as well as the public that the National Congress has been decentralized to the various regional capitals where voting and collation of results would be done owing to unavoidable reasons.”
