Klottey Korle constituents protest, urge NDC to address ‘daughter of murderer’ comment against Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings

A group of concerned constituents from Klottey Korle have gathered at the NDC Headquarters in Adabraka, demanding the party address comments made in Parliament about their Member of Parliament, Dr. Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings.

The protestors are calling for a response to the controversial remark, “daughter of a murderer, sit down,” made by an unnamed parliamentarian during a recent sitting.

The comment, which targeted Dr. Agyeman-Rawlings, has caused outrage among her supporters, who view it as disrespectful and unjust.

The constituents, who are rallying outside the NDC Headquarters, are urging the party leadership to take a stand and make their position clear on the matter.

Many expressed their frustration over the lack of public condemnation from the party regarding the offensive comment, which they believe undermines the dignity of Dr. Agyeman-Rawlings and disrespects her late father, former President Jerry John Rawlings.

Dr. Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings, the daughter of the late former president, has not yet publicly responded to the incident, but her supporters are determined to see that the party stands with her in the face of such accusations.
