Jomoro needs a leader who puts their needs first and that has been missing – Samia Nkrumah

The daughter of Ghana’s first president Dr Kwame Nkrumah, Samia Nkrumah, believes the people of Jomoro are lagging because they’ve not had a leader who puts their needs first in a very long time.

She has explained that this is the reason why she has decided to contest for the seat after a very long time.

Making this position known in a post shared via Facebook after she filed her nomination to contest Samia explained that her decision to run is based on her desire to improve the living conditions of the good people of Jomoro.

Today, Wednesday, 11 September, I successfully filed my nomination at the Municipal Electoral Commission office in Half-Assini to contest the 2024 parliamentary election in the Jomoro Constituency as an Independent Candidate.

My decision to run is based on my desire to change lives and improve the living conditions of the good people of Jomoro. I know that the people of Jomoro want an MP who will put their needs first, and therefore I want to once again serve them as their MP.

I was accompanied by a number of my supporters, executives, and my son, Kwame.

I am deeply grateful for the groundswell of support, goodwill, and prayers I continue to receive from all over the constituency. #Jomoro#ghana#FowardEver
