GTDC Appointment: Mahama appreciates practice cum intellectauality will help build Ghana – Prof Kobby Mensah

Political Marketing consultant, Prof. Kobby Mensah, has hailed the President of Ghana’s appreciation of practice cum intellectuality as critical ingredients for national development and his vision for building the Ghana we want.

He has therefore assured the president of attacking his responsibilities with rapid responsiveness, collaborate with stakeholders and deliver relevant results.

Adding that “We shall ensure that the vision of His Excellency to deliver the Ghana we all want is achieved.”

Making this known in a post shared via social media, the University of Ghana lecturer stated, “I am happy to announce that I officially submitted my letter of acceptance to my appointment as the Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Tourism Development Company (GTDC) early this morning.

I wish to use this opportunity to express my profound appreciation to the President of the Republic, His Excellency Pres. John Dramani Mahama for finding my expertise worthy of consideration. The President, through my appointment and many others from the academic community, has demonstrated his appreciation of practice cum intellectuality as critical ingredients for national development and his vision for building the Ghana we want. I am deeply grateful.

I am very much aware that the task ahead is enormous, but the opportunities are boundless. I assure the President that my team and I at GTDC will attack the responsibility with rapid responsiveness, collaborate with stakeholders and deliver relevant results. We shall ensure that the vision of His Excellency to deliver the Ghana we all want is achieved. So help me God!

Prof Kobby Mensah has been appointed Chief Executive of the Ghana Tourism Development Company.

His appointment is to ensure that Ghana’s Tourism sector develops for the country to reap the benefits thereof. With his expertise in Marketing, entrepreneurship and Tourism, leading this company will help transform Ghana’s Tourism sector.
