GFA launches five-day training program for southern sector scouts
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has launched a five-day training program for scouts from the five southern sector regionsâGreater Accra, Central, Western, Eastern, and Volta.The program, which began on February 3 at the Ghanaman Soccer Center of Excellence in Prampram, is designed to equip scouts with essential skills in scouting principles, profiling, and report writing.Led by GFA Technical Director Prof. Joseph K. Mintah, the training features a team of experienced instructors, including Desmond Ofei, Director of Coaching Education; Joseph Tetteh-Zutah, Elite Academy Manager; Papa Nii Lartey, Head of Talent Identification and Development; Edward Acheampong; and Fataw Salifu, Scouts Manager.The initiative aims to enhance the ability of scouts to identify and develop young talents, strengthening the foundation of Ghanaian football.The program runs until February 7, after which participants will return to their regions with improved expertise to contribute to football development.
