The Economic Advisor to the Vice President, Dr. Tiah Abdul-Kabiru Mahama, has called on NPP supporters in the Walewale constituency to stay calm.
His call follows the decision by the Tamale High Court to annul the NPP Walewale primary results.
Addressing NPP supporters who stormed the court to witness the judgement of the NPP Walewale , he appealed to them to respect the decision of the court and should not do anything that will disrupt the unity of the party in the constituency.
He however indicated that after the full judgement of the court is read on September 12,2024 he would outline his next of action.
The Tamale High Court, presided over by Justice Richard Kogyapwah, today ordered a rerun of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary Primaries.
This court case follows the current Member of Parliament (MP), Hajia Lariba Zuweratu decision to head to court to challenge the results of the NPP Walewale parliamentary primary.
