Ashanti Regional roads being constructed will be left to rot if Mahama is made President – Wontumi

Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako, known popularly as Wontumi, has reminded people in his region not to make John Dramani Mahama president.

He says if the National Democratic Congress (NDC) takes over power, development in the Ashanti Region will stall.

Chairman Wontumi was speaking on Kumasi-based Sompa FM when he made this known.

He said, just like John Dramani Mahama said in the past, that even if gold is placed on the roads in Kumasi, they will never vote for the NDC. He will continue to deprive the people of the needed development because he does not earn politically from the region.

“I’m on this radio tour to bring to the attention of Ashantis that there is a need for them to rise and vote massively for Bawumia.

If Mahama comes to power, he will not continue to the Suame interchange. I say this because John Mahama put the people of the Ashanti Region in exile for the years he was president.
