Former Asante Kotoko goalkeeper, Ibrahim Danlad beleives it is about time the club recruit the best players.The club after failing to perform last season have parted ways with 21 players with some attributed to underperformance.Some senior players also failed to renew their contract with the club.However, Danlad, who is a former skipper for the side says the club must target singing the best players in the league."When I joined Asante Kotoko, I met Stephen Oduro at the club. I will implore the recruitment team of Asante Kotoko to sign the best players in the league," he told Kumasi-based Pure FM."I mean the established and experienced players to blend with the young ones to help the club," he added.Asante Kotoko are on the market negotiating to sign players ahead of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.They are also preparing for the maiden edition of the Democracy Cup against their rivals, Hearts of Oak on July 17 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
