Aboubakar Ouattara is not good enough to coach Hearts of Oak, says legendary Mohammed Polo
Hearts of Oak legend, Mohammed Polo believes head coach for the side, Aboubakar Ouattara is not good enough to lead the side ahead of the 2024/2025 Ghana Premier League season. The Ivorian manager was named as the Phobian Club head coach midway through the 2023/24 season, replacing Martin Koopman on a two-and-a-half-year deal.Despite the challenging campaign, Ouattara led the side to secure their Premier League status on the final day with a 3-2 win against Bechem United at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park.However, he is expected to lead the side for the upcoming campaign but Polo speaking in an interview questioned Ouattara's performance, particularly because the coach nearly led the team to relegation.According to the former Ghana international, the former Asante Kotoko coach lacks the necessary qualities to effectively manage a club."I don't understand why Hearts of Oak is still keeping Aboubakar Outarra as head coach," he told Kumasi-based Oyerepa FM."Someone who nearly sent the team to relegation.
