Samuel Anim Addo, the bankroller for Young Apostles, has revealed that the club is using the ongoing Division One League (DOL) Super Cup as a critical part of their preseason preparations for the upcoming 2024/25 Ghana Premier League.In their opening match of the DOL Super Cup, Young Apostles drew 1-1 with Hohoe United at Nana Kronamansah Park in Nsoatre. Akwasi Nti Randoff put Young Apostles ahead in the 43rd minute, but Kwadwo Boamah equalized for Hohoe United just before halftime.Looking ahead, Hohoe United is set to face Okwawu United, while Young Apostles will take on New Edubiase in their next matches, both scheduled for Thursday."The result was a good reflection; both teams did well. We, at Apostles, are using this competition for our preseason, and it has helped us," he told Peace FM as monitored by Footballghana.com"It is a very good thing. We have seen our players who are good, and we have to pay more attention to them; they are very good," he added.
