The NPP gov’t had a family and friends leader who took Ghanaians for granted—Coach Opele

Ghanaian football coach Isaac ‘Opeele’ Boateng has criticized the outgone New Patriotic Party (NPP) government for shooting themselves in the foot.

He is of the firm view that the political party did nothing but disregard the people of Ghana and were punished during the 2024 elections.

In a series of tweets on X, Coach Opele could not hide his disgust for the outgone government.

“We had a bad family and friends leader, that caused us dearly,” he said

His tweets read further”Yes. NPP took Ghanaians for fuuls. We must allow the NDC to do whatever. Even if Mahama appoints 60 of his family members to be ministers it is the NPP that has caused it not Mahama. That is my stand now. We showed bad tyranny. Chasing media to mute them. Very sad for NPP”.

Adding that “If not Power Drunk who in his right senses will play King Paluta song that, God has blessed them and it has pained you? When the masses were crying over hardship. The dollar was $1 to GH15. Inflation was high. Yet, we were playing that song. Power Drunk made them deaf”.

“Exactly. What baffles me are some NPP small boys IDIOTS on this app that are still defending the NONSENSE we did under my post. The Power Drunk attitude we showed to Ghanaians was very silly. Someone like me kept mute cos I wanted Dr Bawumia to win first b4 speaking out loud,” he stated.

He urged the NPP to rebuild its party and come back with me of Integrity and not those who just left power.

“Comeback with men of Integrity,” he said in a tweet.
