Sey Mubarak, the Public Relations Officer of Ghana Premier League side Karela United, has denied that Steadfast FC will receive about seven million pounds from the transfer of Abdul Fatawu Issahaku to Leicester City from Sporting CP.Tamale South Member of Parliament Haruna Iddrisu owns both Karela United and Steadfast FC.Mubarak stated that Iddrisu disclosed that the club will receive between three to four million pounds.“If the money had come in bulk like that, we would have liked it, but that is not a figure we are expecting to receive. It is not money for Karela; it is for Steadfast,” Mubarak told Asempa FM, as monitored by footballghana.com.“But when the money comes, some of it will benefit Karela.“What the man said is that he’s expecting about £3 to £4 million; it is not the £7 million or £9 million that people are quoting.
