Police on manhunt for suspect Mujaheed Suraj over shooting incident in Awutu Senya East

The Ghana Police Service (GPS) has launched a manhunt for Mujaheed Suraj, also known as Mims, who is accused of shooting and injuring an individual in Awutu Senya East of the Central Region.

According to the police, the incident occurred before Suraj fled the scene, abandoning his vehicle, which has since been impounded as part of the investigation.

In a statement, the police confirmed that an intelligence-driven operation is underway to locate and arrest the suspect, pledging to ensure he faces justice. 

“We want to assure the public that we will surely get him,” the statement added.
