Kumasi-based Kessben FM is reporting that Nsoatreman FC has pulled out of the Ghana Premier League.
According to the report, the club has written officially to the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to make their decision known.
They cite players and supporters safety as the reason behind their decision to withdraw from the Ghana Premier League.
It is not clear what the future will be for the football club going forward.
Their decision comes after a known supporter of Kumasi Asante Kotoko was killed at the home venue of Nsoatreman.
The football association has banned the club from playing from their home and has formed a committee to investigate the matter.
The police have also started a full-fledged investigation into the matter to bring the perpetrators to book.
