Former Deputy General Secretary for the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Koku Anyidoho has asked Ghanaians to forget the directive by the Chairman for the opposition NDC, Asiedu Nketia barring their Members of Parliament to step foot in Parliament.
According to him, the NDC MPs more than ever need their exgratia among others, which is contained in the last budget to be read in the legislative house and will therefore not heed to any directive by their chairman.
Anyidoho made this known in a post shared via social media in response to Asiedu Nketia.
His post read “Put your trust in perfidious Asiedu-Nketiah, & perish into eternity. He is only helping NDC MPs to cut off their noses to spite their faces. Their salaries & EX-GRATIA are all part of the 1st quarter budget in 2025. I was his Deputy for 4yrs and I KNOW him like my “dross”.
Meanwhile, Sam Nartey George has also indicated that MPs on the NDC side of Parliament will not come back to Parliament if Parliament is recalled by the Speaker.
He argues that they have just three weeks to elections and MPs will need to be in their constituencies canvassing for votes.
