Member of Parliament for the Bekwai Constituency, Hon. Joseph Osei-Owusu, is of the view that the Hung Parliament has been the worst ever Parliament in Ghana’s history.
He believes that instead of bringing the needed development, it rather brought out the worst.
Hon Joseph Osei-Owusu was speaking on Accra-based AsaasePa when he made this known.
“The Hung Parliament brought out the worst in us. When the numbers were not the same, we negotiated very well and that ensured a smooth running of the economy and country.
You can check with Parliament to see if we were able to promulgate laws as a Parliament. There is always disagreement. People fighting in Parliament while others, people taking the Speaker’s seat among others.
I actually thought the Hung Parliament would have made us better people but rather it brought the worst in us as humans. Things that I never saw in my life as an MP happened in the current Parliament,” he said.
