Mahama’s victory linked to ancestor blessings – Spiritualist Great Seer Mills

A prominent spiritualist from the Ashanti Region, Great Seer Prince Mills, has emphasized the importance of honouring and communing with the dead as a pathway to success and personal growth.

He shared this advice following an incident in which John Dramani Mahama, before casting his vote in the recent elections, visited his father’s gravesite in Bole.

According to Great Seer Mills, this act should not be underestimated, as he believes that the spirit of Mahama’s late father, along with those of his forefathers, played a pivotal role in securing his victory.

In an exclusive interview with a radio station in Kumasi, monitored by MyNewsGH, Great Seer Mills explained the significance of Mahama’s gesture.

He stated, “Sometimes people don’t understand why certain actions are taken, but I tell you, if you don’t have an idea, just watch. Former President Mahama’s visit to his father’s grave before the election contributed to his victory.”

He continued, “This was not just a visit; it was a way for Mahama to show love and communicate symbolically with the spirits of his father and forefathers.

These spirits guided him, leading to his victory. The dead play a crucial role in the lives of the living. If you have deceased parents and are about to embark on a significant journey, seek their blessings—they will always help you, just as Mahama did.”

Great Seer Mills also clarified that his views are not rooted in superstition. “It is not about fetishism,” he explained.

“It is similar to how Christians and Catholics pray through their saints. As traditionalists or spiritualists, we also pray through our ancestors, and there is nothing wrong with that. We must learn and understand these practices properly.”
