Austrian lower-tier club SKU Amstetten announce signing of Ghanaian forward Charles-Jesaja Herrmann
Austrian lower-tier outfit SKU Amstetten have successfully secure the transfer of Ghanaian forward Charles-Jesaja Herrmann.The 24-year-old joins the Austrian 2.Liga outfit from SV Waldhof Mannheim in Germany.Jesaja Herrmann is expected to strengthen the attack of SKU Amstetten in the upcoming campaign."Charles-Jesaja Herrmann from SV Waldhof Mannheim to SKU Ertl Glas Amstetten. He will strengthen our attack, having played 21 games in the 3rd division last season, scoring three goals." The club announced.Herrmann's football journey began at Hannover 96, progressing through VfL Wolfsburg's youth system and earning 26 caps for Germany's junior national teams (U15 - U19).He moved to KV Kortrijk in Belgium's top division in 2021, then to NAC Breda in the Dutch second division, before joining Mannheim in 2023.The striker is the son of former Ghana international Charles Kwablan Akonnor and remains eligible to represent Ghana at the international level.Amstetten welcomed Herrmann warmly, expressing hopes for his success with the club.
