Asiedu Nketia writes off A Plus in Gomoa Central contest

Parliamentary candidate Kwame Asare Obeng, known popularly as A Plus, has questioned the National Chairman for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) fixation on him.

He says Asiedu Nketia while campaigning in his constituency, wrote him off as not part of the competition.

However, the National Chairman kept mentioning his name throughout the period he was in the constituency.

In a post shared via social media he said “The National Chairman of the NDC, Asiedu Nketia, visited Gomoa Central and addressed his supporters. He claimed that, based on their research, the NDC candidate is narrowly leading the NPP candidate, with Nana Ɔgyegyefo aka Kwame A Plus, coming last. However, he spent nearly an hour focusing on A Plus. Everything he said from start to finish was about A Plus. “He would never make a good MP or enter Parliament” “A Plus is not part of us, we only attended his father’s funeral out of courtesy.”

Interestingly, Asiedu avoided mentioning the NPP candidate, who he admitted is closely competing with the NDC candidate. Not a single time. Instead, he chose to attack the person he claims is coming last. Aaaba! The most absurd comment he made was, “If you vote for A Plus, he will chøp all your girlfriends.” What nonsense? Even you wey you make like atmosphere self you dey fire gerhs!

Instead of telling your supporters the truth you are beating about the bush. My information is that you are behind those mining lithium in my constituency. Allegedly, you struck a deal with Akufo-Addo and you have been chopping quietly. Swear on your children that Akufo Addo has not done anything for you. Swear! Stop throwing dust in the eyes of your supporters. Your fear is that, as MP, I might demand a better deal so that the locals benefit from their natural resources. That is the reality. You make lucky say I dey like JM. Masa don’t bring yourself. E go over you! You want this fight, at this time? Are you a serious national chairman? Concert man! Me, I no be the ordinary people you dey encounter ooo. Dey g!
