Former President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, is expected to begin his campaign in the Upper East Region.
According to information available to this website, his campaign starts on August 3, 2024.
The former president, who is seeking re-election, will be in the region on August 3 and end on his tour on August 6, 2024.
The former president is expected to sell his message of “resetting Ghana and building a Ghana we all want.”
In the Upper East Region, he will be meeting chiefs, stakeholders, party faithful, and all constituents to drum home the need to bring him back to power.
John Dramani Mahama and the NDC successfully launched their campaign in Tamale on July 27, 2024, in the presence of party faithful.
The party has given a strong indication that they will be embarking on a house-to-house grassroots campaign to ensure that their message reaches every home in the country.
The National Democratic Congress is hopeful of winning the 2024 elections considering what they describe as the mess the current government has created in the country.
Meanwhile, Prof Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang in her home region, the Central Region, on a tour of the region.
Flagebearer John Dramani Mahama introduced her to the Central Regional House of Chiefs who gave them their blessings ahead of the elections.
Naana Jane will be in the region, visiting constituencies under it, until August 2, when she will end her tour of the Central Region.
