Basake Holy Stars coach, Abdulai Gazale, has revealed that winning against Hearts of Oak means he protected his record against the Phobians.The newly promoted side shocked the Phobians 1-0 on Sunday, September 9, 2024, at the Accra Sports Stadium in their opening game of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League.Speaking after the game, Gazale claimed winning means he as well preserved a record of Basake Holy Stars.“Already we have records in terms of the team. I also have my records in terms of playing against Accra Hearts of Oak.“Back at Kotoko, Hearts of Oak have never beaten us, and I was coming out with this particular mindset again as I am now in charge of this team.“I have to make sure that history continues. Basake Holy Stars also have the same history.They have never lost their first game, both in Division 1 and Division 2, and we wanted to do the same thing. We were able to play with discipline, and we did it."
