Black Princesses head coach, Yusif Basigi has called on Ghanaian football fans to support his side ahead of the U-20 Women's World Cup.Ghana will be competing in the Mundial for the seventh consecutive in Colombia. The Princesses have been housed in Group E alongside Japan, New Zealand and Austria.After arriving in Bogota last week, Basigi has urged football fans to continue to support the team."Ghanaians are our fans and always behind us in prayers and in support and this is no different," he told the Ghana FA website."They did it for us in Cape Coast and this time we are expecting it to be massive. They should keep supporting us to get to the highest heights," he added.The Black Princesses will open their campaign against Austria on September 2 before taking on Japan and New Zealand.Yusif Basigi will be playing in high-profile friendly games before the start of the global showpiece in the South American country.The team will be aiming to progress beyond the group phase for the first time.

Black Princesses head coach, Yusif Basigi has called on Ghanaian football fans to support his side ahead of the U-20 Women's World Cup.

Ghana will be competing in the Mundial for the seventh consecutive in Colombia. The Princesses have been housed in Group E alongside Japan, New Zealand and Austria.

After arriving in Bogota last week, Basigi has urged football fans to continue to support the team.

"Ghanaians are our fans and always behind us in prayers and in support and this is no different," he told the Ghana FA website.
