The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has confirmed Dr Kabiru Mahama as its parliamentary candidate for the 2024 elections.
This comes after the incumbent Member of Parliament stepped down from the race on September 10, 2024.
A statement confirming the New Patriotic Party candidate said they do not take the decision of the incumbent MP to step down lightly.
It called on the general public to support the candidate to ensure victory in 2024.
