Fast-rising Broadcast Journalist, Amansan Krakye born Frank Mensah has explained why the radio industry is suddenly booming in Cape Coast and the Central Region at large.
According to the entertainment show host and multiple award-winning presenter, most people were scared of investing in the radio industry for fear of losing their money.
In an interview on Adom TV, he said “For Cape Coast and Central Region I would say that people are beginning to appreciate broadcast journalism that’s why more radio stations are springing up.
“Though the salaries paid by most of the radio stations here in Cape Coast and Central Region is nothing I believe that gradually things will improve.
“I strongly believe that previously most people were scared to invest in the radio industry in Cape Coast and Central Region due to fear of losing their money,” he told Abena Ghana, the host.
“Because maybe the adverts that you’ll get in Accra or Kumasi you might not be able to get here in Cape Coast but now some agencies help us to get a lot of adverts,” he explained.
