Pastor Irenous Mensah Dzormeku, the Founder of Royal Sanctuary Mission, on behalf of the local clergy, has expressed admiration for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s political achievements during his recent tour of the Volta Region.
“We have been monitoring your exploits with keen interest and admiration,” he stated, emphasizing the impact of Bawumia’s initiatives on the community.
Pastor Dzormeku noted that as pastors, they are connected to people from all walks of life within their congregations, enabling them to understand the needs and aspirations of their community.
“We know what is good for our people within the political arena, especially regarding development,” he said, highlighting the vital role of spiritual leaders in bridging the gap between politics and community welfare.
Addressing Bawumia directly, Pastor Dzormeku remarked on the Vice President’s exceptional humility. “Your humility in the annals of politics is second to none,” he acknowledged, reinforcing the idea that genuine leadership is rooted in modesty and service.
He praised Bawumia’s integrity and loyalty, which he believes have solidified the Vice President’s admirable reputation in the public eye. “Your commitment to your principles has truly set you apart,” the pastor remarked.
In his address, Pastor Dzormeku also commended Bawumia for his sense of inclusivity. “Despite being a Muslim, you have collaborated with Christians and even built churches,” he noted, highlighting Bawumia’s efforts to foster interfaith relationships and unity within the community. “This is a testament to your belief in inclusivity and coexistence,” he added, acknowledging the importance of religious harmony in Ghana.
The pastor further praised the Vice President’s contributions to healthcare in the region, particularly the innovative use of drones to supply medical supplies to villages in South Tongu. “Thanks to your initiatives, our healthcare delivery has improved significantly,” he said. “Drones are now bridging the gap between our communities and essential medical supplies, and we are incredibly grateful for this.”
Pastor Dzormeku concluded his speech by touching on the renowned Free Senior High School (Free SHS) policy, which he described as “the best social intervention ever introduced by any government in the annals of Ghana’s politics.”
“This initiative has transformed the educational landscape for countless families,” he affirmed, expressing hope for the future of Ghana’s youth.
