Ghana forward Mohammed Dauda has completed a switch to Spanish lower-tier club UD Ibiza in the ongoing transfer window.

The former Asante Kotoko attacker joins Ibiza on a season-long loan from fellow Spanish outfit CD Tenerife. He will join the first team for the upcoming football campaign.

Dauda, who is a former Ghana youth international is expected to play a huge role for the Spanish third-tier club as they seek to make meaningful impact this season.

The 26-year-old forward has featured for a couple of clubs in Europe since departing Asante Kotoko in 2017 following an impressive performance in the local scene.

Dauda began his career in Ghana before he departed for greener pastures. He joined Belgium giants Anderlecht from Ghana Premier League outfit Asante Kotoko in 2017.

However, the Ghanaian international struggled to break into the senior team and had to embark on several loan spells.

He was loaned out to Dutch side Vitesse and Esbjerg fB in Denmark before he permanently departed the club in 2021.

Dauda joined Spanish second-tier side Cartagena in the 2021/2022 season and made an impressive debut, scoring 9 goals in 35 games.

He caught the attention of CD Tenerife following his swashbuckling performance for Cartagena, earning him a move to the club.

The former Kotoko attacker played for the Canarian club for two and a half seasons before he was farmed out on loan to CD Eldense in the second half of last season.

Dauda will be a valuable asset for UD Ibiza considering his qualities and worth of experience.
