Police deny ownership of an accident truck with police stickers conveying mining machines

The Ghana Police Service has debunked claims that they own a truck that was spotted carrying mining equipment at Nkonsa in the Ashanti Region.

In a video that went viral on social media, Ghanaians were seen in awe about a truck with the sticker of the Ghana Police Service, which was spotted transporting some mining equipment.

People who spotted the truck were shocked since the country is battling galamsey.

However, a statement from the Ghana Police Service denied ownership of the said truck, indicating that the truck belongs to Road Safety Management Services Limited.

Police, in their statement, indicated that they have commenced investigations into the matter.
