Nana Kwame Bediako known popularly as Cheddar, has announced that he will be running for president with Dr. Maryam Esaka Kriesie as his running mate.
He made this announcement through a tweet on X.
His announcement read “I’m pleased to announce that I’ll be embarking on this remarkable journey for presidency with Dr. Maryam Esaka Kriesie as my running mate, the right mate! #GhanaWillWorkAgain #VoteNumber12“.
Cheddar is hoping to win the 2024 election to lead Ghana out of the pit created by the old generation of leaders in the country.
A little research on who Dr. Maryam Esaka Kriesie indicates that she is a Finance expert at the University of Ghana.
Maryam Kriese currently works at the Department of Finance, University of Ghana. Maryam does research in Financial Economics, Development Economics and Business Administration. Her most recent publication is ‘Financial consumer protection and economic growth’.
Speaking after the announcement, Dr Mayram Esaka indicated that her decision to back Nana Kwame Bediako is the fact that he has policies that will create jobs and opportunities for every Ghanaian and not just a select few.
