The Inspector General of Police (IGP), George Akufo Dampare, had to step out of his car to direct vehicular traffic while en route to the Black Star Square.
Photos posted by Daily Graphic on Facebook showed the IGP in his charismatic element, doing what he loves best.
Some roads have been closed due to the inauguration of President-elect John Dramani Mahama.
John Dramani Mahama will be inaugurated today as the president of Ghana.
He will be Ghana’s 6th president under the Fourth Republic.
John Dramani Mahama is, however, coming in for his second term after failing to win the 2016 elections.
At 66, John Dramani Mahama is expected to tackle familiar challenges, including corruption, high unemployment, inflation, and public discontent.
