Leading member of the New Patriotic Party, Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko, has sent a message of congratulations to newly sworn in president John Mahama Dramani and Ghana as a whole.
According to him the swearing in of the new president shows new hope and a new dawn for Ghana.
Taking to his social media page, X on January 8, 2025, he wrote, “Congratulations Ghana! New head. New set. New dawn. New hopes. Great expectations. Wishing the new leadership and Ghana the best in all things possible.
“Ghana is indeed beautiful! Let’s have the courage to celebrate the beauty about Ghana that others so easily celebrate and reference.”

John Dramani Mahama will be inaugurated today as the president of Ghana.
He will be Ghana’s 6th president under the Fourth Republic.
