The controversy ignited when Rev. Owusu Bempah, a figure often associated with the ruling NPP due to his history of favourable forecasts for the party, shocked many by endorsing NDC candidate John Dramani Mahama as the likely winner in the upcoming December 7 elections against Vice President Bawumia.
