NPP promoting their members to lead public institutions to sabotage NDC gov’t – Asiedu Nketia

Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Asiedu Nketia, has accused the New Patriotic Party government of promoting their members in the public sector into leadership positions to sabotage the incoming government.

He says the NDC after taking over on January 7, 2024 will ensure that such employments and promotions will be reversed.

To him, public sector workers should not agree to be used by the outgoing NPP government or they will live to regret it.

“When they were in government they said there was no money to employ young people. All of a sudden, they have been able to provide employment to about 10,000 people as they are leaving power.

They have decided to promote all the NPP people who are in the public sector so that they will lead the various sectors and sabotage the government. They should know that we will reverse all those promotions and sack most of the people involved.

If an MP who has lost ask you to sign appointment letters for some people and you do it, realize that we will sack you too when we come to power for engaging in that illegality,” he said while on a thank you tour in the Bono Region.
