Never choose a man over yourself – Agoro warns women amid 2Baba divorce drama

Businesswoman and founder of DANG, Ifedayo Agoro has expressed her anger over Nigerian music icon 2Baba Idibia’s public announcement of his divorce from his wife, Annie.

Agoro, who has built a reputation for being outspoken on matters of personal integrity and self-respect, didn’t hold back as she called out the singer for what she described as “disgusting behaviour” toward his wife.

“First they groom you, then you lose yourself and then they dump you. I am sooo angry! I never involve myself with things like this but this is disgusting behaviour by this man,” Agoro vented, sharing her frustration on social media.

Her remarks came in the wake of 2Baba’s controversial decision to announce his divorce from Annie publicly, a move that many, including Agoro, found unnecessary and hurtful.

Agoro’s anger wasn’t just about the public nature of the announcement; it was rooted in the years of humiliation Annie had allegedly faced.

“In the time when this woman is being bashed, you had to say this? Knowing you constantly humiliated her publicly since I was 18 years old? Why now?

“Why heap more fire on her reputation?” Agoro fumed. Her comments suggest a long-standing frustration with the way Annie’s personal life has been played out in the public eye, particularly by her husband, who has been embroiled in multiple controversies over the years.

She urged women to prioritize themselves above any relationship, stressing, “Never ever ever choose a man over yourself. No one is INDISPENSABLE! Gosh!”
