Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako, known popularly as Chairman Wontumi, has alleged that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has plans to disrupt the 2024 elections in the Ashanti Region.
However, he has urged supporters of the New Patriotic Party to be vigilant on December 7, 2024.
“After voting, stay at the polling station and ensure you police the ballot. When you see people riding on motor and you don’t know them, don’t allow them anywhere near the ballot box,” he said.
Wontumi further indicated that anyone who intends to foment violence will be dealt with as the 2024 election is expected to be peaceful.
