The campaign song of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the 2024 elections dubbed “Kwen Kwen” is making strides on Apple Music in Ghana.
A 100 most played songs in Ghana on Apple Music reveals that the track ‘Kwen Kwen’ holds the top position, followed by ‘Funds’ by Davido featuring ODUMODUBLVCK.
The song was composed by gospel artist Nacee, who has been a usual campaign song composer for the party since the 2016 elections.
The song highlights Mahama’s policies for the economy while preaching his goodwill message to Ghanaians.
John Mahama, candidate for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has been declared the winner of the 2024 Presidential Election, following the late announcement on the evening of 9 December 2024.
Mahama polled 6,328,397 votes representing 56.5% while Dr. Bawumia garnered 4,657,304 votes representing 41.61%. These results announced by Jean Mensa were based on the collated results from 267 constituencies out of the 276.
The EC said it is awaiting the collated results from nine constituencies which, however, will not affect the declaration of John Mahama as the president-elect.
