The Board of the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has appointed Mr David Asamoah as its Acting Managing Director.
This decision comes after the sudden resignation of the Managing Director, Samuel Dubik Mahama.
Prior to his appointment as Acting Managing Director, Mr David Asamoah was the Deputy MD in charge of commercial services.
His appointment will remain in effect until a decision is taken by the government that is the sole shareholder in the company.
Announcing this move, Board Chairman for the Electicity Company of Ghana, Alexander Afenyo Markin assured the people of Ghana that it will not affect the supply of power as all their systems are still in place.
