Asaase Broadcasting Company Ltd. has announced the new additions of several talented professionals for its new local radio station, AsaasePa 107.3.
These joiners bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the company and will play a vital role in driving Asaase’s growth and success.
Bonohene Baffour Awuah
The latest joiners include Awuah Baffour Williams, popularly known as Bonohene Baffour Awuah started his radio career in 2008 at Yankee FM in Sampa (Bono Region) till 2016 and proceeded to Kasapa FM in Accra from September 2016 till date. He received the overall best worker for Kasapa FM in December 2017 just a little over a year after he joined the station.
He is also a trained teacher with degree in education.
Bonohene won the best Akan news caster of the year in 2017/2018. Since then, he has been consecutively nominated every year in the same category and even for the best morning show host of the year by the Award Scheme. Bonohene in 2021 won the best morning show host of the year under this prestigious award Scheme.
In 2019/2020, Bonohene got nominated for the best male news caster of the year (G.Accra Region). He again in 2020/2021 got nominated for the Best Morning Show Host of the Year (G.Accra Region).
Under the same award scheme, he has been nominated for the 2023/2024 overall Best Morning Show Host of the Year.
Bonohene has worked with Yankee FM as the morning show host, news anchor, programmes manager and news editor over the years.
Nhyira Kwabi Angela

Sir K A Y
A.k.a. the RadioGod or the Only Sir on Air. Since 2016, he has worked with Pluzz FM, Hitz FM, Zylofon FM, Dofopa FM, and Susubribi FM (Kyebe).He has a two-decade track record as the originator and “baddest” club emcee.
Dedicated, committed and a goal driven team player . Innovator, voice coach and content creator. He is credited for being the developer of “KILL THE MIC SHOW,” amongst others . He is easygoing and a goal getter. A source of inspiration for the youth and an official ambassador to some dancehall/reggae artists. Undoubtedly an authentic, credible voice in the entertainment industry.

Icebaby De General is a GBC-trained TV and Radio, On-air personality with over 14 years of experience delivering topical radio programs and ministry in the Eastern Region and its surrounding areas.
Programmes Manager and the host of the Nkonim Drive Time Show, and Nkonim Live Worship host.
Created popular programmes like Awaree Ne Mu Nsemsem, and Mabr3 P3n, created popular most listened to programme segments, etc.
He was the Best Drive Time Host of the Year & Best Male Presenter of the Year, Eastern Media Excellence Award, Eastern Region.
Emmanuel Nyarko
Commonly known as Akokoraba Nyarko Abronoma, is a seasoned journalist with approximately five years of experience in the broadcasting industry.
