With barely two months to the general elections, Mr. Horace Ekow Ewusi, the Parliamentary Candidate for the Cape Coast North constituency representing the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has expressed confidence that the remarkable infrastructural projects completed under President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia will play a crucial role in the party’s success on December 7th.
He noted that Ghanaians are likely to base their votes on the developmental achievements of the NPP government led by these two leaders, along with their clear vision for the future. “The extensive developmental initiatives by Dr. Bawumia and Nana Addo are a strong indication that the NPP will secure victory, as development is a crucial factor,” Mr. Ekow Ewusi stated.
These insights were shared with the media following a large unity health walk organized by the Cape Coast North constituency executives. Mr. Ekow Ewusi described the health walk as a precursor to victory for both Dr. Bawumia and himself, reaffirming his commitment to reclaiming the Cape Coast North constituency seat for the NPP. His enthusiasm and focus on development underscore the party’s strategy as they gear up for the upcoming elections.
We must come together as a unified front to intensify our efforts and support the NPP flagbearer in securing a significant number of votes in the Cape Coast North constituency.
Madam Barbara Asher Ayisi, the former Member of Parliament for the area and ex-deputy Minister of Education, emphasizes the necessity of teamwork within the NPP to achieve victory in both the presidential race and the Cape Coast North constituency.
“The hard work of the NPP in 2020 should have resulted in a parliamentary majority, but disunity led to our losses,” she expressed with frustration.
“We are in a critical battle, and breaking the eight-year cycle is a serious endeavour. We are committed to this goal, and Ghanaians are also gearing up to make it happen,” Madam Asher Ayisi remarked.
