Legendary traditional singer Naa Amanua passes away

Ghanaian traditional singer Naa Amanua Dodoo, who was best known as Naa Amanua from the renowned Wulomei band, has passed away.

Rex Omar, a legendary Highlife musician, confirmed her unexpected death on social media. “R.I.P Naa Amanua of Wulomei fame.”

Naa Amanua began her music career in the 1960s and has since released many albums. She is known for her puissant voice and her ability to weave traditional stories into her songs.
