Kosovo's FC Drita announce signing former Hearts of Oak midfielder Ibrahim Salifu

Kosovo club FC Drita have announced the signing of former Hearts of Oak midfielder Ibrahim Salifu on a three-year deal.The former Techiman Eleven Wonders star is moving to Europe after failing to extend his contract with the Phobians.Drita FC is Salifu’s first stop in Europe after playing for Hearts of Oak and Eleven Wonders in the Ghana Premier League during his professional career.“Salifu Ibrahim is our newest player. Our club, FC DRITA, is pleased to introduce our newest player, Ghanaian Salifu Ibrahim,” the club said.“Salifu plays as a midfielder and comes from the Ghana Premier League, where he was part of the Hearts of Oak team for three years.”Ibrahim Salifu, who joined Hearts of Oak in 2021, was instrumental in their 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League title win, even earning both club and league MVP honors. In total, he won five trophies with the Phobians.The midfielder is considered one of the best in the local scene, having shown glimpses of top performance for the Rainbow Boys.In the recently concluded Ghana Premier League season, the 24-year-old scored two goals and provided ten assists in 32 appearances.

Kosovo club FC Drita have announced the signing of former Hearts of Oak midfielder Ibrahim Salifu on a three-year deal.

The former Techiman Eleven Wonders star is moving to Europe after failing to extend his contract with the Phobians.

Drita FC is Salifu’s first stop in Europe after playing for Hearts of Oak and Eleven Wonders in the Ghana Premier League during his professional career.
