Joe Ghartey eulogises wife after she was elected GBA President

Former Railways Minister, Joe Ghartey has eulogised his wife Efua Ghartey a week after she was elected President of the Ghana Bar Association (GBA).

In a post shared via social media, the astute politician indicated that she has over the years “been my strength; with a heart of gold, a spine of steel and a gentle disposition”.

He emphasized that she waited on the Lord’s time and he made things beautiful for her in his own time.

Joe Ghartey believes that his wife will take the Ghana Bar Association to a higher height.

32 years ago on September 19th 1992, Rt Rev Professor Emeritus Kwesi A Dickson, led his daughter down the aisle at Calvary Methodist Church in Adabraka Accra. From that day Efua Dickson became Efua Ghartey. Over the years she has been my strength; with a heart of gold, a spine of steel and a gentle disposition.

A daughter of the Manse and former Chairperson of the United Bible Societies Worldwide, she has never forgotten our Lord. She was my President, as President of the Greater Accra Branch of the Ghana Bar Association, for six years. Today she is the President of the Ghana Bar Association. What can I say except, God makes all things beautiful in His time. That is the song Efua sang 32 years ago.

The past 32 years have been wonderful. Congratulations Madam President! Anything for the boys?
