Head Coach of the Sudanese National Team, James Kwesi Appiah, has urged Ghana to prepare well for future tournaments.
He is of the view that not being able to qualify for the 2025 AFCON is an indication that football has evolved and the best prepared will always qualify.
To him, he wished Ghana would have qualified from their group but that wasn’t meant to be.
“When the draw placed Ghana in our group, I did several interviews where I said I hoped both Ghana and Sudan would qualify. It’s unfortunate Ghana couldn’t make it.
As a Ghanaian, I’m not happy about that, but football has evolved, and every country needs to prepare well for competitions. I hope Ghana learns from this and comes back stronger in future tournaments,” he told CAF media.
