Chairman Odeneho Kwaku Appiah, a former constituency chairman and influential figure within the New Patriotic Party (NPP), cast his vote at Hemang in the Afigya Kwabre South constituency amid a vibrant election atmosphere.

Addressing the media and voters after casting his ballot, Odeneho Kwaku Appiah urged the electorate to maintain calmness while remaining vigilant throughout the voting process. He emphasized that peaceful participation is crucial for ensuring a credible election.

“Casting your vote is a fundamental right,” he stated. “But as we exercise this right, we must remain calm, united, and vigilant to ensure the process is free, fair, and credible.”

Known for its high voter engagement, the Afigya Kwabre South constituency in the Ashanti Region has seen significant activity at polling stations.

Security personnel and election officials have been deployed to manage the process and address potential challenges. Voters queued patiently, demonstrating their commitment to democracy.

Chairman Odeneho’s appeal came against the backdrop of heightened political tensions in some parts of the country. He specifically called on the youth to refrain from acts of violence or intimidation, urging all stakeholders to prioritize peace and transparency.

“This is a day for every Ghanaian, regardless of party affiliation, to contribute to the future of our country. Let us not allow divisive tendencies to mar this important process,” he added, stressing the importance of unity in safeguarding Ghana’s democracy.

The day progressed smoothly in Afigya Kwabre South, with election observers commending the constituency for its orderliness and dedication.
